Neil GaimanNeil Gaiman is a British writer of graphic novels, comic books, screenplays, and fantasy fiction. After working as a journalist, Gaiman turned to writing comic books in 1987.  He achieved almost instant fame with the release of Outrageous Tales of the Old Testament that same year.  Gaiman's most famous comic book work came on the Sandman series (1991-1996) in which he employs all kinds of fantasy and fairy tale character motifs in highly original plots that recall traditional horror stories and romances.  The series was later collected in graphic novel format and are Vertigo Comics, a DC Comics imprint, best selling books.  Gaiman has also written a number of novels with his most recent works, American Gods & The Graveyard Book, New York Times Best Sellers.
 
Neil Gaiman is an ardent supporter of the CBLDF and devotes a tremendous amount of his time and resources to further the mission of The Fund.
